After heartbreak feels like the end of the world, a young woman spends one quiet day completing ten small rituals, slowly learning to let go and begin again.
導演的話｜Director’s Statement
我由香港的傳統女性電影人出發，現在也是一位 AI 電影人。AI 讓我不必等待批准、資金或「對的時機」，也讓我把已離世的貓咪「小寶」帶回我的世界，這一次，牠成為了演員之一。
AI 不是取代電影，而是打開另一扇門。我依然相信演員、攝影機、片場、意外與情感，也相信 AI 的可能。為何只選一樣？
I started as a traditional female filmmaker in Hong Kong. Now, I’m also an AI filmmaker. AI gave me the freedom to create without waiting for permission, funding or the “right moment”, and the chance to bring my late cat, Siubo, back into my world, this time as part of the cast.
AI does not replace filmmaking. It opens another door. I still believe in actors, cameras, sets and all the beautiful imperfections of cinema, and I believe in AI’s possibilities too. Why choose one, when we can have both?

AI Film Festival Japan 2026
《世界末日前要做的10件事》從全球 60 多個國家、逾 700 部 AI 影像作品中脫穎而出，獲選於電影節主單元放映。這亦是導演 Candy Ng 的作品首次在日本公開放映。
10 Things To Do Before The World Ends was selected from more than 700 AI films submitted from over 60 countries, and will screen at the festival’s Main Festival. It also marks director Candy Ng’s first public screening in Japan.

AI 日本國際電影節於 2025 年由日本影視及娛樂界資深人士創辦，今屆擴展為「電影節＋娛樂商業大會」，集合 AI 作品放映、頒獎禮、業界論壇及國際交流。
Founded in 2025 by veterans of Japan’s film and entertainment industry, AIFJ has grown into a film festival and business conference, featuring AI film screenings, an awards ceremony, industry talks and international networking.
